GPHL’s intangible cultural heritages on display at Yuexiu Temple Fair

The annual Yuexiu Temple Fair is ongoing in Guangzhou between February 19th and 25th with a series of cultural activities, tasty foods, and folk shows. Over 30 intangible cultural heritage items are on display during the seven-day event and cultural inheritors have also been invited to demonstrate their techniques.

Baozitang Bao Ying Dan production technique (national level)
Note: Bao Ying Dan is mainly used to treat common cold and gastrointestinal discomfort in children.
Guanghua Xiaochaihu production technique (provincial level)
Note: Guanghua’s Xiaochaihu Keli is used to induce sweat to dispel heat, soothe liver and harmonize stomach.

Note: Xingqun’s Xiashuangju Keli is used to clear the liver of heat to improve eyesight, dispel the wind and fever, dispel rheumatism or toxicity.
