On the afternoon of February 27th, a donation ceremony and a community volunteer activity were held in the Square on Shamian First Street, where GPHL made donations to Shamian community workers. GPHL’s executives, community volunteers, and residents participated in the activity.

GPHL chairman Li Chuyuan visited the community workers who worked tirelessly to prevent the possible spread of COVID-19, expressed his respect and gratitude, and donated supplies and protective equipment on behalf of GPHL.

In his speech, Li Chuyuan mentioned that as a major company based in Shamian, GPHL will more actively undertake its social responsibility, and support community workers during the outbreak. He also reminded community workers to take care of their own health and safety.

Zhang Yu, secretary of the Shamian Community CPC Working Committee, expressed her sincere gratitude for GPHL’s donations. She noted that GPHL’s donations effectively mitigated the critical shortage of medical and protective supplies in the community. Subsequently, they will continue to ensure residents’ personal safety, and fight against the COVID-19 outbreak.
