The 4th China Drug Regulatory Science Conference (2019), directed by the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) and organized by the China Society for Drug Regulation (CSDR), was held in Beijing on October 20th, 2019.
GPHL chairman Li Chuyuan was invited to make a keynote speech entitled ‘The Development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and New Opportunities for Traditional Chinese Medicine’ at the conference. Li participated in China’s National Day military parade extravaganza as the representative of the only TCM manufacturer to be based in the Greater Bay Area (GBA). He shared his feelings about the National Day event, analyzed new opportunities for TCM industry development in the GBA on the back of the current economic environment, and called for building a health-oriented community in the GBA.
The China Society for Drug Regulation, one of the Conference’s organizers, was founded on July 19th, 2013 with the consent of the State Council and approval of the Ministry of Civil Affairs. CSDR, headed by the China Food and Drug Administration, is an independent and non-profit social welfare organization at national level, serving as a bridge and link between organizations, individuals and companies that engage in and care for drug supervision and administration.
