On September 6th Guangzhou Baiyunshan Chemical Pharmaceutical (Zhuhai) Co., Ltd. (“GBCP (Zhuhai)”) started building work for the company’s new site at Fushan Industrial Park, Zhuhai. Officials from Zhuhai government, the deputy general manager of GPHL Cheng Ning, general manager of Guangzhou Baiyunshan Pharmaceutical Li Hong, and chairman of GBCP (Zhuhai) Li Hui attended the groundbreaking ceremony.

The construction project covers an area of 96,000 square meters, with a total investment of 800 million RMB. The company will start the construction of facilities for bulk pharmaceutical chemical (BPC) compounding and refining related to anti-infection, cardiovascular, metabolic diseases, elderly people, and anticancer treatments. A new drug production line and supporting facilities are expected to be built in Phase II.

Li Chuyuan, chairman of GPHL, said that GBCP (Zhuhai) shall exert every possible effort to develop new treatments.
