GPHL’s Chairman Li Chuyuan, a member of the Guangzhou delegation, attended the Annual Meeting of the New Champions 2019, also known as the Summer Davos Forum in Dalian, a coastal city in northeast China's Liaoning Province, between July 1st and 3rd.

The company’s new beverage products jasmine herbal tea, roxburgh rose mixed juice (Ci Ning Ji) and sugar-free herbal tea were demonstrated at the ‘Guangzhou Night’ event on the evening of July 2nd. Guests were amazed by the stylish packaging and unique flavour of the jasmine herbal tea in particular, some calling it a ‘standout of its kind’.

In an interview with the media during the forum, Li Chuyuan said it was the 10th time for him to attend the Davos. “The forum sees the attendance of politicians, business people, scholars and media representatives from over 100 countries. We have gained information and experience significant for the company’s future development.”

According to Li Chuyuan, GPHL recorded revenues of 116 billion RMB last year, with that number estimated to grow to 130 billion RMB this year and 150 billion RMB the following year. Li assured audiences that the enterprise is well on its way to becoming a Fortune Global 500 enterprise.

The 2019 Summer Davos forum is being held from July 1-3 in northeast China's coastal city of Dalian, with globalization in the spotlight. Also known as the 13th Annual Meeting of the New Champions, this year's forum features the theme "Leadership 4.0: Succeeding in a New Era of Globalization."

More than 1,900 politicians, business people, scholars and media representatives from over 100 countries attend the forum.

Established by the World Economic Forum in 2007, the Summer Davos Forum is held annually in China, alternating between the two port cities of Tianjin and Dalian.
