GPHL and Yunfu settled a series of cooperative projects at the city of Yunfu on the morning of June 25th, 2019. Huang Tiansheng, deputy mayor of Yunfu, Cheng Ning, Deputy General Manager of GPHL, and Wu Changhai, Deputy General Manager of GPHL among other relevant individuals from both Yunfu and GPHL, attended the signing ceremony.

Agreements were signed to build a lab for Lingnan herb development between GPHL’s Guangzhou Caizhilin Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Yunfu Baiheming Agriculture Development Co., Ltd. as well as GPHL and Guangdong Xinxing TCM School.

On September 11th, 2017, GPHL and Yunfu signed a strategic agreement to jointly work on the research and development, plantation, trade and processing of Lingnan herbs. Under this agreement, GPHL’s subsidiaries Guangzhou Caizhilin Pharmaceutical Company Limited, Guangzhou Baiyunshan Chenliji Pharmaceutical Factory Co., Ltd., and Guangzhou Huacheng Pharmaceutical Factory cooperated with the Yunfu Baiheming Agriculture Development Company to grow more than 330 acres of Lingnan herbs, such as scarlet kadsura and purple azalea.

At present, the plantation base is flourishing under strong management and is helping locals to rid themselves of poverty.

Cheng Ning, Deputy General Manager of GPHL, hopes the cooperation will help boost the development of both Lingnan herbs and the economy in Yunfu.
