Guangzhou Mayor Wen Guohui visits Yunfu

Between April 15th and 16th, Guangzhou Mayor Wen Guohui visited Yunfu and met with the city’s Party Chief Huang Hanbiao and Mayor Wang Sheng.
On the evening of April 15th, representatives from the two cities held a conference, discussing their further cooperation in many key areas including agriculture, medicine and the automobile industry.
On the morning of April 16th, Wen Guohui paid a visit to several sites, namely: the Lingnan Herb Plantation Base co-established by a Yunfu enterprise and the Guangzhou-based GPHL, the site selected for the vegetable distribution center co-developed by Yunfu and Guangzhou, and the hydrogen energy source industrial base.
About GPHL’s Lingnan Herb Plantation Base in Yunfu
On September 11th, 2017, GPHL and Yunfu signed an agreement to jointly work on the research and development, plantation, trade and processing of Lingnan herbs. Under this agreement, GPHL’s subsidiaries Guangzhou Caizhilin Pharmaceutical Company Limited, Guangzhou Baiyunshan Chenliji Pharmaceutical Factory Co., Ltd., and Guangzhou Huacheng Pharmaceutical Factory cooperated with the Yunfu Baiheming Agriculture Development Company to grow more than 330 acres of Lingnan herbs, such as scarlet kadsura and purple azalea. At present, the plantation base is flourishing under strong management and is helping locals to rid themselves of poverty.
