China Southern Airlines to expand routes linking B&R countries this summer

China Southern Airlines, one of the biggest airlines in China, announced recently that new routes will be launched and increased between Guangzhou and destinations in B&R countries, including Vienna, Cebu, Nagoya, Christchurch and Nairobi. The new schedule will be carried out from March 31st to October 26th.

The carrier will launch a new route linking Guangzhou, Urumqi and Vienna, the Capital of Austria on June 18th. The route of Guangzhou-Urumqi-Vienna will be the carrier’s first and only route linking Guangzhou and Austria. The air route operates three times a week using Boeing 787, according to the airline. The service runs every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday as CZ6021/6022.

The air route linking Guangzhou and Cebu will operate three times a week using Boeing 738 as CZ8373/CZ8374, while the Guangzhou-Nagoya route will operate twice a week using Boeing 738 as CZ6055/CZ6056.

At the same time, China Southern plans to increase its international flights to destinations in Australia, New Zealand and other countries in Southeast Asia, Africa and Europe.

For instant, the airline will arrange 2 flights between Guangzhou and Bali Island every day. Flights linking Guangzhou and Christchurch, Adelaide will increase to 5 times a week, and flights linking Guangzhou and Nairobi, Roma will increase to 4 times a week.
