Convenient shuttle bus service launched for Greater Bay Area

On Jan 28, the connecting bus service for Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) Shuttle Bus was launched in Zhongshan, by which people can arrive Hong Kong through HZMB Zhuhai Port. Other connecting lines starting from Guangzhou, Shunde, Jiangmen, Foshan and Yangjiang will open later this year.
This convenient 24-hour service will shorten passengers' travel time since they don't need to repeat the queuing and ticketing at each port or station.
How to purchase the connecting bus ticket
Passengers can book the bus ticket on the official Wechat "粤港澳跨境通"( service only in Chinese). Then, they can get the ticket with a QR code at the pick-up station.
About the HZMB Shuttle Bus
Here shuttle buses indicate to those that shuttle on the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge 24 hours a day. It has two lines including Hong Kong-Zhuhai line and Hong Kong-Macao line.
Initially, a fleet of 140 buses are put into operation and they are available every 5 to 10 minutes during busy hours or 10 to 15 minutes during less busy hours. Leaving from Zhuhai Port on HZMB, the shuttle buses can take to its counterpart Hong Kong Port in just 40 minutes. In the past, it took at least 3 hours to travel one way between Hong Kong and Zhuhai by the bus.
