GPHL’s Chairman Li Chuyuan attended corporate exchange event in Sichuan

As the representative of a key investment enterprise for Sichuan Province, GPHL’s Chairman Li Chuyuan attended the two-day event titled “2018 Well-known Chinese and Foreign Enterprises’ Visit to Sichuan” in Chengdu, Sichuan Province on April 17-18, 2018.

During the visit, Li Chuyuan met with major leaders of Sichuan Province to deliberate over further cooperations in healthcare service, innovative medical institutions, and eldercare service organizations. In the meantime, Li also discussed how to promote health industry in the new era with other attendees.

A strategic cooperation agreement has been signed between GPHL and Sichuan Province, mainly about further cooperation in TCM, health care, commerce, and medical treatment. The two parties are also working on the second-phase construction of Wanglaoji’s Ya’an Plant, healthcare products, plantation of Chinese medicinal herbs, and commerce logistics.

GPHL has been cooperating with Sichuan Province for a long time. Back in 2013, after the breakout of Ya’an earthquake, GPHL’s Wanglaoji immediately sent much needed medicine, provisions and donations to the disaster-stricken area, and invested RMB 300 million to establish a production center in Ya’an.

On April 19, 2015, phase I of the center started mass production. Total production in the first phase allegedly accounted for RMB 1.5 billion, and 1,000 new employment opportunities were created. Such a huge effort has increased local people’s income, and in turn helped them make more contributions to the local economy and enjoy a better life with their family.

In addition, GPHL’s Guangzhou Pharmaceuticals Corporation and Chengdu Xin Hui Yuan Pharmaceuticals Corporation established a joint venture in 2012, the “Chengdu Guang Yao Xin Hui Yuan Pharmaceuticals Company Limited”. The company mainly provides logistics service for pharmaceutical business, and is now one of the largest pharmaceutical sales companies and one of the best delivery dealers in the pharmaceuticals industry in Sichuan Province.
