Bozhou, China's largest production area of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), is promoting the use of TCM in the fight against COVID-19.

Birthplace of the renowned Chinese physician Hua Tuo who lived in the late Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220), Bozhou in East China's Anhui province boasts rich resources in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), making it the country's largest TCM production area and trading hub.

Bozhou city is located in the northwest of Anhui. The skills of herb planting, processing and trading have been passed down from generation to generation for more than 1,800 years. Now, Bozhou has been the largest Chinese medicine trading market in the world.

For achieving the goal that traditional Chinese medicine makes people healthier, many cities like Bozhou, are actively promoting the internationalization of the traditional Chinese medicine industry.
