The Canton Fair Complex Phase IV project will be put into operation at the 132nd Canton Fair, the autumn session of the biannual fair in 2022, according to China Foreign Trade Center (CFTC). The completed Canton Fair Complex will be more functional, with a total exhibition area of 620,000 square meters, serving as the world's largest exhibition complex.

The Canton Fair Complex Phase IV project was launched in December last year. According to the construction updates announced by CFTC, the total construction area will reach 1.165 million square meters after the completion of the Phase IV project. Among them are the existing construction area of 1.1 million square meters, and the construction area of the Phase IV project of 515,000 square meters.

The total exhibition area of Canton Fair will reach 620,000 square meters. Among them are an indoor exhibition area of 504,000 square meters, including the existing 374,900 square meters and that of the Phase IV project of 129,300 square meters. The outdoor exhibition is 116,000 square meters, including an existing 89,300 square meters and that of the Phase IV project of 27,000 square meters.

As for other supporting facilities, the conference area in the Complex will reach 49,000 square meters, including an existing 34,100 square meters and that of the Phase IV project of 15,200 square meters. The number of parking spaces for small cars is 4,893, including 2,645 available now and 2,248 for the Phase IV project in the near future.
