According to the railway project operator, the Guangzhou-Qingyuan intercity rail, which underwent a trial run on October 27th, will be put into operation very soon.

It will take less than 40 minutes from Qingcheng district of Qingyuan to Huadu district of Guangzhou. According to the trial run on October 27th, the train departed from Qingyuan Railway Station at 10:33 am, and arrived at Huadu Railway Station in Guangzhou at 11:06 am.

During the trip, the train made stops at Longtang Town, Yinzhan, Shiling and Letong stations, and its average speed was about 105 kilometer per hour.

The main track of the rail line is 38.123 kilometers long, with 18.71 kilometers in Qingyuan. Its designed speed is 200 kilometers per hour. There are several stations in Qingyuan, including Yinzhan, Longtang Town, Qingcheng and a bullet train repair station, also in Loongtang. In Guangzhou, stations include Shiling, Letong and Huadu.

The blue and white multiple unit high-speed train has 8 carriages, with 16 rows of seats in each carriage and 4 seats in each row. There is a row of seats near each side door, with 3 seats there.

Disposable cups are provided for passengers to drink water and both squat and flush toilets are available on the train.

After this intercity railway goes into operation, the follow-up planning will gradually promote the integrated running of Guangzhou Metro and the PRD intercity railways to bring "one network, one ticket, one city cluster" convenience.
